ACCOLATE Drug Use: Accolate is used for the prevention of asthma attacks. Accolate is used for long term treatment of asthma.
ACCOLATE Drug Usage Instructions: Follow your Doctors instructions. Accolate is taken twice a day, irregardless of whether you have had any asthma attacks recently. Take Accolate on an empty stomach and do not eat for at least on hour after taking Accolate.
ACCOLATE Storage Instructions: Accolate should be stored in a dry, dark place at room temperature. Keep Accolate in it's' original container and out of reach of children.
ACCOLATE Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of Accolate you should take it as soon as you remember. If it's close to the time for your next dose you should skip the tablet that you missed and get back to your usual schedule. Do not take 2 doses at the same time.
ACCOLATE Side Effects: The most common side effects of Accolate are headache, infection and nausea. Some of the less common side effects can be :abdominal pain, back pain, rash, joint pain, muscle aches, vomiting and weakness. If you have any of these problems please contact your Doctor.
Special Precautions with ACCOLATE: You should not take Accolate if you are allergic to it or any of its' constituents. You should not stopping Accolate unless under the advice of a doctor.
