AMARYL Drug Use: Amaryl is an oral medication used to treat Type 2 (non-insulin-dependent) diabetes when diet and exercise alone fail to control abnormally high levels of blood sugar.
AMARYL Drug Usage Instructions: Take the Amaryl dosage exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more or less of Amaryl dosage than directed by your doctor. Amaryl dosage should be taken with breakfast or the first main meal.
AMARYL Storage Instructions: Store Aaryl in a well closed container at room temperature.
AMARYL Missed Dose: Take Amaryl dosage as soon as you remember. Do not take 2 Amaryl dosages at the same time. If it is almost time for your next Amaryl dosage, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular Amaryl dosage schedule.
AMARYL Side Effects: Less common and rare side effects of Amaryl dosage may include: anemia and other blood disorders, blurred vision, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, itching, liver problems and jaundice, muscle weakness, nausea, sensitivity to light, skin rash and eruptions, stomach and intestinal pain, vomiting.
Special Precautions with AMARYL: Remember that Amaryl is an aid to and not a substitute for, good diet and exercise. Failure to follow a sound diet and exercise plan may diminish the results of Amaryl dosage and can lead to serious complications such as dangerously high or low blood sugar levels.
