Avoid aricept drug if you have an allergic reaction to the drug itself or an allergy to the group of antihistamines that includes Hismanal, Claritin, Allegra, Atarax, Periactin, Optimine, and Nolahist. Aricept can aggravate some asthma and other breathing problems, and can increase the risk of seizures. This drug can also slow the heartbeat and possibly cause fainting in people who have a heart condition. Report all Aricept drug side effects to your doctor.
