CARDURA Drug Use: Cardura XL is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a condition in which the prostate gland grows larger, and then presses on the urethra and threatens to block the flow of urine from the bladder. Cardura XL relieves symptoms such as a weak stream, dribbling, incomplete emptying of the bladder, frequent urination and burning during urination.
CARDURA Drug Usage Instructions: Cardura XL may also be prescribed for treatment of high blood pressure and congestive heart failure.
CARDURA Storage Instructions: Take Cardura XL exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Cardura XL can be taken with or without food. Failing to take Cardura XL regularly may cause your condition to worsen.
CARDURA Missed Dose: Store Cardura XL (doxazosin) at room temperature
CARDURA Side Effects: Never take 2 doses of Cardura XL at the same time. If you miss a cardura XL dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next cardura XL dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular dosage schedule.
Special Precautions with CARDURA: More common side effects of Cardura XL may include: dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, and headache. So you are advised not to take cardura XL without the doctor's prescription.
