CIPRO Drug Use: Cipro is an antibiotic used to treat infections of the abdomen, respiratory tract, the skin, the bones, and the urinary tract. Cipro is a powerful effective antibiotic especially useful in urinary tract infections.

CIPRO Drug Usage Instructions: Cirpo is usually given twice a day and comes in 250mg 500mg and 750 mg tablets. It is best taken 2 hours after a meal to get the best absorption with the least side effects. You should drink plenty of fluid while on Cipro to prevent crystals from forming in the urine. Always try to take the drug at the same time each day exactly 12 hours apart.

CIPRO Storage Instructions: This medication can be stored at room temperature in a tightly sealed container. Whatever you don’t use by the end of your regimen should be discarded.

CIPRO Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of this medication you should take it as soon as you remember except if it’s close to the time for your next dose. If this is the case you should skip the missed dose and just resume taking your medication on it’s regular schedule. Do not double up on doses of Cipro.

CIPRO Side Effects: The most common are: headache, rash, nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, restlessness and dizziness. If you experience any of these symptoms, or any others due to this medication, you should contact your physician immediately.

Special Precautions with CIPRO: There are certain side effects that may occur with Cipro so you should take it for a few days to see how you respond to it personally. For instance: if it causes you dizziness you should not operate any machinery. If you have a known or suspected Central nervous system disorder you should be very careful when taking Cipro as it can cause CNS side effects that can exacerbate your condition.
