COREG Drug Use: Coreg is a heart medication that helps to lower the blood pressure and the output of the heart. It is usually prescribed for people with COPD it increase survival rate and reduce the need for hospitalization. Coreg is a drug that is normally used alongside other drugs for blood pressure.

COREG Drug Usage Instructions: Normally Coreg is taken twice a day and always with food to increase absorption. You should see improvement in the symptoms of high blood pressure within 7 to 14 days.

COREG Storage Instructions: Coreg is a heart medication which can be stored at room temperature in a tightly sealed container out of direct sunlight.

COREG Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of Coreg take it as soon as you remember unless it's close to the time for your next dose. If that's the case skip the previous dose and continue on with your regular schedule. Do not double up on doses.

COREG Side Effects: The more common side effects of Coreg (carvedilol) are: back pain, chest pain, bronchitis, diarrhea, headache, joint pain, low blood sugar, nausea, weight gain, vomiting, urinary infection, muscle aches, slow heartbeat, fainting and cough, just to name a few. Special Precautions with COREG: Sometimes Coreg aggravates chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. Make sure your doctor is aware of it. Report any weight gain or shortness of breath to your doctor immediately. Liver damage, although very rare, can be a side effect of Coreg, so make sure your physician has a full medical history before prescribing this drug.
