Drug Name: CREON

Chemical names: Pancrealipase
CREON Drug Use: Creon is used as a supplement pancreatic enzyme deficiency. Often people with cystic fibrosis, chronic inflammation of the pancreas, or blockages of the pancreas. Creon is also taken by people who have had their pancreas removed.
CREON Drug Usage Instructions: Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It should be taken with food. As far as dosage, there are so many different types of treatment that there is no real normal dosage. That will be decided by your doctor.
CREON Storage Instructions: Store at room temperature in a dry place out of direct sunlight.
CREON Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of this drug take it as soon as you remember unless you are close to the time for the next dose. If that’s the case skip the previous dose and continue with you regular schedule. Do not double dose.
CREON Side Effects: Most common are: stomach upset, intestinal upset. Also there may be allergic type reactions.
Special Precautions with CREON: If you have an allergic reaction to any of the constituents, discontinue use immediately.
