FOSAMAX Drug Use: Fosamax is used in osteoporosis to stop the loss of bone.
FOSAMAX Drug Usage Instructions: Fosamax usually comes as a 70mg table. Fosamax should be taken once a week (on an empty stomach)
FOSAMAX Storage Instructions: Keep Fosamax at room temperature. This medication should be strictly taken according to the doctor’s prescription. Fosamax should be kept out of direct sunlight.
FOSAMAX Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of fosamax take the medication as soon as you remember. If it's time for the next Fosamax dose then skip the last on and resume regular medication prescription schedule.
FOSAMAX Side Effects: The most common side effects of Fosamax which contain alendronate are: abdominal pain, nausea, joint pain, constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, muscle pain, acid backup, gas and headache. If you have any of these side effects due to this medication, or any that aren't mentioned please contact your doctor and seek his prescription.
Special Precautions with FOSAMAX: It is very important that nothing else be in the stomach when Fosamax is taken (and for 2 hours after). It is advised to take Fosamax drug only after your doctor's prescription.
