ISOPTIN Drug Use: Verapamil is a calcium channel blocker and is used for blood pressure, angina, irregular heart rate
ISOPTIN Drug Usage Instructions: it works by slowing down the passage of nerve impulses through the heart and therefore decreasing the workload on the heart. You must take it regularly for this medication to work. It may take weeks.
ISOPTIN Storage Instructions: Verapamil can be taken with or without food. Do not crush or cut the tablets as they are extended release tablets.
ISOPTIN Missed Dose: Store verapamil at room temperature in a sealed container and out of direct sunlight.
ISOPTIN Side Effects: If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember if it’s close to the time for the next dose, just skip the previous dose and resume your normal schedule.
