K-DUR, KLOR CON, MICRO K Drug Use: K-DUR is used to prevent low potassium levels in people who may face low potassium levels especially due to drug therapy(ie Lanoxin, and non-potassium sparing diuretics).Potassium is a very important chemical in the body as it’s involved in every muscle contraction in the body, including the contraction of the heart. As you can see it’s very important to check potassium levels when taking certain drugs. Also you may find if you are in the hospital for an unspecified reason, one of the first things that gets checked if your potassium level.

K-DUR, KLOR CON, MICRO K Drug Usage Instructions: The recommended dose of potassium is completely up to your doctor and depends on the starting point of your original potassium level. K- Dur is considered safe for breastfeeding. Your doctor will want to know what the amount of salt you are imbibing is and he may tell you to stop altogether. K dur can sometimes increase or decrease the effects of other drugs so make sure your doctor knows all the medications you are currently on. An over dose can cause cardiac arrest.
