LAC-HYDRIN Drug Use: Lac-Hydrin is used for dry, itchy, scaly skin including ichthyoids vulgaris. It’s available in cream or lotion form. It’s available in Canada without a prescription, in the USA it’s a prescription medication.
LAC-HYDRIN Drug Usage Instructions: Always shake it well to make sure the chemical ingredient is evenly distributed. Apply to the affected areas and rub it in thoroughly (so you can’t see it anymore)
LAC-HYDRIN Storage Instructions: Store if away from direct sunlight and in a sealed container.
LAC-HYDRIN Missed Dose: If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember unless it’s close to the time for the next dose, if this is the case skip the previous dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double up on doses.
LAC-HYDRIN Side Effects: The most common side effects are: burning, eczema, irritation, peeling rash, skin discoloration. If you have any of these or any others contact your doctor immediately.
Special Precautions with LAC-HYDRIN: Use Lac-HYDRIN on the skin only and avoid contact with your eyes mucous membranes and lips. If Lac- Hydrin makes your skin worse stop immediately. Do not use if you are allergic. Do not use on broken or irritated skin. Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
