LEVOXYL Drug Use: This drug is used to supplement thyroid hormone that the body is not producing enough of (or not at all).

LEVOXYL Drug Usage Instructions: Levoxyl is take once a day. It may take several months and blood tests to get the correct dose in the blood stream. Sometimes it even comes to taking one dose one day(25mcg) and a different dose the next day( 75mg) to have a mixed dose that levels out in the bloodstream in the long run. This dosage instruction is totally up to your doctor. Always take Levoxyl on an empty stomach.

LEVOXYL Storage Instructions: Store Levoxyl at room temperature in a sealed container out of direct sunlight.

LEVOXYL Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of Levoxyl take it as soon as possible unless it’s close to time for the next dose, if this is the case, skip the dose and resume your regular schedule> Do not double up on doses.

LEVOXYL Side Effects: Some common side effects are: hair loss and rash or hives if you are allergic. The side effects are low because you are simply replacing a natural hormone. If your dose is too high you can get over stimulation, anxiety, chest pain, fever, flushing, palpitations, tremors, sweating, sleeplessness, vomiting, nervousness irregular heartbeat, heart attack failure, hair loss and more.

Special Precautions with LEVOXYL: Do not take if allergic. Notify your physician about any effects while starting on this medication. There are some drug-drug interactions and drug food interactions and you should find out from your doctor what these specific things are pregnancy and breastfeeding are okay on this medication if you were on them before.
