Drug Name: LUMIGAN
Pronounced: LOO-mi-gan
Chemical names: bimatoprost
LUMIGAN Drug Use: It’s used to combat high pressure in the eye ball due to glaucoma. It works by promoting drainage of the eye liquid.
LUMIGAN Drug Usage Instructions: Usually taken once a day. If you wear contacts, wait 15 minutes before putting in the drops. Do not touch dropper to the eye.
LUMIGAN Storage Instructions: Store at room temperature in regular container.
LUMIGAN Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of Lumigan you should take it as soon as you remember. If this is too close to your next dose, just skip the previous dose and resume regular schedule. Never double up on the doses.
LUMIGAN Side Effects: Most common side effects of Lumigan are: burning eyes, darkening of eyelashes, dry eyes, cataract, excessive hair growth, swelling of eyelids, weakness, itchy eyes, headaches, red eyelids.
Special Precautions with LUMIGAN: Do not use if allergic. It can also cause changes in the eye coloring, and eyelid coloring.
