MACRODANTIN (or MARCRBID) Drug Use: Macrodantin is an antibiotic generally used in the treatment of urinary tract infections.
MACRODANTIN (or MARCRBID) Drug Usage Instructions: Macrodantin should always take with food as this increases absorption of the drug. As with any antibiotic you should take the full course of therapy. Do not stop taking just because you feel better. One of the alarming side effects is turning the urine brown.
MACRODANTIN (or MARCRBID) Storage Instructions: Store Macrodantin at room temperature, in a sealed container and away from direct sunlight.
MACRODANTIN (or MARCRBID) Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of Macrodantin you should take it as soon as you remember. If it’s too near the next dose, skip your previous dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not double up on doses.
MACRODANTIN (or MARCRBID) Side Effects: The most common side effects are: turning urine brown, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite.
