MAVIK Drug Use: Mavik is used to control high blood pressure and can be effective alone or when used in conjunction with other medications like diuretics. Mavik is an ACE inhibitor, as mentioned previously,

MAVIK Drug Usage Instructions: The usual dosage is 1 mg a day and may be increased by your doctor to 2-4 mg a day (slowly) the dose will be lower if you are also taking a diuretic.

MAVIK Storage Instructions: Store Mavik at room temperature, in a sealed container, and away from direct sunlight.

MAVIK Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of Mavik take it as soon as you remember. If it’s too close to your next dose just skip your previous dose and resume regular schedule. Do not double up on doses.

MAVIK Side Effects: The most common side effects are: bloating, cough, constipation, fainting, drowsiness, dizziness , decreased sex drive, chest pain, flushing, abdominal pain, difficult breathing, impotence and gout. If you have any of these side effects or any others see your doctor.

Special Precautions with MAVIK: If you develop an allergic reaction (characterized by swelling of the face, lips, tongue and arms and legs) stop immediately. Go to the emergency. If you have any liver problems Mavik should be taken with caution.
