MINOCIN Drug Use: Minocycline is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections like acne, gonorrhea STD’s etc.
MINOCIN Drug Usage Instructions: You can take Minocin with or without food, Make sure you finish the full course of therapy prescribed by your doctor and don’t stop just because you start to feel better. Do not use antacids while on Mnocin as they will decrease the effectiveness.
MINOCIN Storage Instructions: Store Minocin at room temperature, in a sealed container away from direct sunlight.
MINOCIN Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of Minocin take it as soon as you remember, unless it’s almost time for your next dose. If this is the case skip the previous dose and just resume your normal schedule. Do not double dose.
MINOCIN Side Effects: Common effects are: bruising, blood disorders, colitis, hair loss, headache, loss of appetite, loss of feeling, dizziness, drowsiness, discolored hair teeth nails, muscle pain and nausea. There are many more and if you experience any of the above or others contact your doctor.
Special Precautions with MINOCIN: Do not take if allergic to Minocin. Always take the full course of therapy even if you start to feel better if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant talk to your doctor about the risks.
