RISPERDAL Drug Use: Risperdal is used for the treatment of schizophrenia.

RISPERDAL Drug Usage Instructions: Risperdal can be taken with or without food. Take Risperdal exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is not advisable to take Risperdal without the prescription of your doctor.

RISPERDAL Storage Instructions: Store Risperdal at room temperature in a sealed container out of direct sunlight. It is advised to take Risperdal with prescription from your doctor.

RISPERDAL Missed Dose: If you miss a dose of risperdal, take it as soon as you remember but if it's close to the time for your next Risperdal dose skip the previous dose and resume normal Risperdal schedule. Do not double up on doses of Risperdal.

RISPERDAL Side Effects: The most common side effects of Risperdal due to the presence of Risperidone are: chest pain, drowsiness, dizziness, abdominal cramps, constipation, joint pain, rash, vomiting, weight gain, nasal inflammation, diarrhea, dry skin. If you experience any of these or others side effects due to Risperdal, contact your Doctor.

Special Precautions with RISPERDAL: The big problem with Risperdal due to the presence of Risperidone in it is tardive dyskinesia (involuntary muscle twitches of the face and/or body). This will probably cause your Doctor to discontinue therapy.
