XALATAN Drug Use: Xalatan is used to relieve high pressure within the eye (a condition known as open-angle glaucoma). It can be prescribed alone or with other glaucoma medications.

XALATAN Drug Usage Instructions: Use Xalatan exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It should only be applied once a day. Apply one drop to the eye in the evening. If you are using other eye drops to lower pressure, allow at least 5 minutes between applications of the two medications. Contact lenses should be removed before the drug is applied. Wait 15 minutes before reinserting them.

XALATAN Storage Instructions: Refrigerate unopened bottles. Once opened, the bottles may be stored at room temperature for up to 6 weeks. Keep from light.

XALATAN Missed Dose: Never take 2 doses at the same time. If you miss a dose of Xalatan apply as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the dose you missed and go back to your regular dosage schedule.
